Get ready to dive deep into Egypt’s history and culture with this 2-day adventure to Cairo by bus! This extended trip gives you more time to explore the heart of Egypt without rushing—and it’s perfect for history lovers who want to see more of Cairo’s magic.
We start just after midnight with a comfy 6-hour drive in an air-conditioned bus from Sharm to Cairo. After arriving in Cairo early in the morning, the adventure begins!
Day 1 – History & Wonders
• Egyptian Museum Visit – Explore the world’s largest collection of ancient Egyptian treasures, including royal mummies, golden artifacts, and pieces from King Tutankhamun’s tomb
• Lunch at a local restaurant (included)
• Giza Pyramids & Sphinx – Stand in awe of the Great Pyramid of Khufu, visit the mysterious Sphinx, and snap unforgettable photos!
• Optional: Entry inside the Great Pyramid ($30 per person)
• Optional: Nile boat ride ($10 per adult / $5 per child)
• Overnight stay at a 3-star hotel in Cairo (double or triple rooms with private bathroom and air conditioning)
Day 2 – Old Cairo & Shopping
• Breakfast at the hotel
• Visit to The Citadel of Saladin and the famous Mohamed Ali Mosque (also known as the Alabaster Mosque)
• Walk through Khan El Khalili Bazaar, Cairo’s most famous market—perfect for souvenirs and gifts!
• Lunch at a local restaurant (included)
• After a full day of sightseeing, we’ll start the return journey back to Sharm El Sheikh
• Arrival in Sharm around 00:30 AM
